ODE TO FOUNTAIN

I am a little fountain
Spouting, trickle trickle
Coming out a brassy nozzle
Never ever fickle

I’d rather write bout fountains
Than insane war Ukraine
My fountain’s always peaceful
Quiet, selfless, sane

Fountains give me anytime
Don’t give me Donald T
Chaotic, unreliable
It’s fountain (yep) for me

Did you know he was bipolar?

And ill at the end. He told them
he was sick but they all thought he was joking.
As you would…..When he died they realised
not so. His gravestone bears the
line ‘I told you I was ill’ in Irish gaelic…..
