Would appear like a very smug con job
A con job, a bit underhand
Powered by attention-seeking desperation
Wanting to be proud and be great
Seen to be saluted as heroes
In the guise of honouring leaders that are great
Flippant, Comic, and Serious 
There’s too much of them going around. Yawn!
