Don’t Pick Your Nose Billy

Billy is a friend of FCS. He also adores his Uncle Fan

There’s a nerve inside your brain
Which goes straight to your brain
Where virus and bacteria
Can ride this neural train

World-first research by Australian Griffiths University scientists
have demonstrated that a bacteria can travel through the
olfactory nerve in the nose and into the brain in mice, where it
creates markers that are a tell-tale sign of Alzheimer’s disease.

There is now a need to do the study in humans. Does the same
pathway operate in the same way?

Picking your nose/plucking out hairs is not a good idea.
Damaging inside can increase how many bacteria

can go up into your brain.
