Just discovered this after completing above. It depicts Edward Garrett.
Destroys my concept a bit but answers questions on what it’s all about

The actor shown here, Edward Garrett, was about fourteen years old at the time he appeared in the farce ‘The little stranger’, at the Criterion Theatre, London, in 1906, for which this card was published as publicity
