I think the root cause is everyone’s out for themselves. these days. Greed, greed for the dollar, lack of empathy etc.,,,,,,it’s the sign of a society in decline…..

I fear for the future generation….little effort seems to be being made to improve things…..root cause? greed, greed for money, lack of empathy……society is in decline

Sadly I think you’re right….I wrote something once that all I can do as a poet is record what I see…I can’t change the world…..to my way of thinking change will only come about by a mass people movement led be a strong leader…eg Martin Luther King ….
