Pigeon Lives Matter

I am a little pigeon
Hopping on my feet
Eating food and debris
Left around on street

By doing this I help stop
Other vermin dearth
Preventing humans slipping as they
Walk along the path

I work all day quite tirelessly
I do it all for free
Would think that this would please them
Or would think so to me

They say we’ve taken over
They want to do a cull
There’s far too many humans
Will they be culled as well?
