At times I wish I was
To work out how my strange mind works
To work out, just becos

Becos it ain’t a normal mind
It don’t think normally
It don’t write normal poetry
About the bird and bee

Ode to Spring

Flowers are a’blooming
(Birds and bees they bring)
Maypole dancing everywhere
Sprung it has, yep, spring

Instead it makes up strange stuff
Odd, bizarre-type wit

Why am I like this Sigmund?


I’m reading a book ‘Psychology For Beginners’.
Freud discusses the role of the penis in personality
but it’s not helping me…..

True story – many years ago my employer was having ‘difficulties’ with me (of which you are now aware of why). Sent me to a psychologist to ‘sort me out’. He tried to hypnotize me. Traumas as a child, that sort of thing? I ended up giggling. He said I wasn’t suitable hypnosis material. I’m a lost cause……
