Why Write F**k When Everyone Reads it as Fuck ?

Why do dome people write sh–hole
When everyone reads it as shit
Why bother omitting two letters
Why bother omitting the ‘it’?

Why do some people write f—k
When everyone reads it as fuck
Why bother omitting three letters
Why not simply write it as fuck?

Why do some people write c–t
When everyone reads it as cent
Why bother omitting two letters
To me it don’t make any sense?

Seriously why do we do this?

Political correctness?

Hanging on to Victorian sensitivities?

      1. I guess I’m not the best placed to give any suggestions on this one.
As you know – I don’t feel the need to hide or disguise my use of expletives from anyone! 😁

I can only assume that some folks feel more comfortable with insinuation as opposed to being overt – particularly when it comes to the dreaded ‘C word’.

I just don’t have those kind of hang ups when it comes to language. When commenting on other people’s blogs I take my lead from the language and tone of the author – that’s only polite I feel.

But when it comes to my own writing (and speaking of I’m honest) then all words are fair game. If it offends then I guess folks either learn to live with it or choose not to read me again. I’m happy with either. Horses for courses and all that 👍😁🖤

      2. Thankyou for expansive WTF reply. I guess in society there is a group of people who are more comfortable with insinuation than overt. As with all groups their feelings must be respected. After all, to be a stable democratic society a balance between all its groups must be struck….
