It’s true I’m rather big
He thought I should be lowered down
Into Games as pig



Hiroshi Sasaki, creative director, quit after an uproar
over his proposal for Naomi Watanbe, 33,
to be lowered into the stadium in an ‘Olympig’ costume.

“(Watanbe) wearing a cute pink costume
and sticking her tongue out as an ‘Olympig’
I thought would make her look sweet”

Yes, there’s always two sides to a story….sorta go along with the guy who said “It’s the stuff sailors dream of”…maybe only upset the toffy ones…..who knows how it ended up?….did they sing God Save the Queen? …..nah…more like Waltzing Matilda……now a pig flying into the opening ceremony Japanese Olympic games would be something…….

      3. Japanese media have had some controversal and successful concepts…innovation is a big thing there, so not uproar is bad publicity, on the contrary…

Yep, I thought the flying pig idea was a winner….maybe the Olympic bods wanted something more conventional like a cow…..we all know cows can’t fly but pigs can…I saw one yesterday….maybe I should set up shop in Japan Cassa….I’m into controversial ideas…..Skip says I should brush up on the successful side first…..maybe he’s right
