that Stan is endlessly inventive, Don: there should be some Master Builders’ Award he’s eligible for; he’d be a shoe-in 🙂

Have you seem the movie Labyrinth? Starring none other than David Bowie? I think Stan designed the stairs for a scene in that movie too:

That was fascinating. No I haven’t seen the movie. I asked Stan’s boss who said Jim Henson particularly wanted Stan for the design work having seen his efforts on FCS. (we’re attracting the attention of the big boys Ingrid). Stan was all a fluster and had to quickly acquaint himself with Escher’s steps….from which he got his inspiration…..all involved were pleased
