I haven’t seen one of those at a park in years. They were all removed thirty or forty years ago in California. Too dangerous, I guess. Or, maybe too many law-suits. See-Saws, too, for that matter. Sad. Adults forget that falling down is part of being a kid

All too true George. I remember these whizzy things and see saws. Bang bang. All good fun. And all this plastic playground rubbish now. What happened to wood and steel? Falling down is part of being a kid. We’ve a lot to answer for…….
