8 Billion People. Can the Planet Sustain This?

I have always been against the push for population growth.
This is what the UN are currently saying



The UN have just stated

8 billion isn’t too many

There is a bigger problem facing us

Overconsumption of resources

by the wealthiest residents



Focus on overconsumption

of the planet’s resources

by the wealthiest among us



While this might be true , to me it’s a short-term solution
to the long-term problem of increased population growth

They said, don’t worry Don,
we’re preparing to pack up and start afresh on Mars.

I was heartened to hear this
