Tens of thousands of people
Have rushed out and bought electric vehicles
And all of the tens and thousands
Plug in and get charged up at night
We turn on our aircons when all home
Prepare our meals on electric stoves
While solar panels at night stop producing
Are they coal-powered EV’s anyway?
Flippant, Comic, and Serious 
I have an electric car, two electric bikes, and electric air conditioning. But we do have a gas stove!
