Poetry to me’s

About pulling emotions

Sad, happy, angry

Concocting life potions

Sometimes the potion’s

Concocted with sad

Draws at the heartstrings

(We’re not all iron-clad)

Sometimes the potion’s

Concocted with fun

Blues and dark shadows

Get scared off, and run

Then there’s the potion

That pulls anger out

Extreme emotions

The writer’s about

Doesn’t matter the emotion

A potion brings, hosts

It’s how you deal with it

That matters the most
