I got it Cassa. A big con. Organised by supermarkets to make customers think they have to buy before ED. Thus clearing shelf for next supply and ensuring profits……

Now you mention it I did hear of a Level of Sourness Board (LOSB). Every carton of sour cream has to pass through their rigorous sourness standard before going on to the supermarket shelf. It is they who decide it’s expiry date. They have a group of specially trained sourologists with very sensitive tongues. Year of practice to be a top sourologist. You and I would never make it Cassa…..our tongues are just not sensitive enough
