On 2 July 1961, wearing a red bathrobe and blue pyjamas ,
US author and bipolar Ernest Hemingway committed suicide at his home in Ketchum, Idaho


Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic-depression, is a mental illness where sufferers cycle from extreme highs (mania) to extreme lows (depression). Caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. Born with it, no cure. Controlled with medications. Medications sometimes don’t work. Fortunately, mine do
