I am the Covid virus
Politics you play
Free vaccines to Bengal if
You win and get your way

Keep playing at your politics
Your people they despair
Winning I am easily
But you don’t seem to care

You hold pol-itic rallys
Thousands you have there
Hardly there’s a mask in sight
But you don’t seem to care

Look at all the funeral pyres
Burning everywhere
Winning I am easily
But you don’t seem to care

You say all India will be jabbed
Quickly, easily
With only 1.4 percent?
Winning I am easily

You let these crowds of thousands
In the Ganges bathe
While I just have a field day
Increasing second wave

Your health system’s collapsing
What are you going to do?
Winning I am easily….

    It reminds me of one of my favourite song lyrics…

    ‘Thou shalt give equal worth to tragedies that occur in non-English speaking countries as to those that occur in English-speaking countries…’

    Just a shame not everyone seems to follow such advice 🖤🖤
