Yep…next you’ll ask wot’s an an answer machine? Seriously,I discovered the other day the out message tape I used to have in our machine. In tape was blank….no fiends Elle….actually I couldn’t find it

Lol I was joking! I’m of an age that was pre fax, pre answering, pager, computer internet machine. We communicated with two tin cans and string. 🤣

As did I……did you find baked bean cans the best?……they had that special timbre to them……we found (through much trial and error) Heinz variety to be the best……I still have them (though rusted they now be) sitting pride of place on the mantlepiece)….still looking for the string Elle
