Everyone is mortal
Everyone will die
David Bowie passed away
Many said goodbye
Reader you are mortal
Reader you will die
Even I as poet
Some day I will die

He gave so much to the world while he was here. I believe he left for the stars at the end. Nice tribute, Don.

Love this wonderful soul.
Something happened on the day he died
Spirit rose a metre and stepped aside
Somebody else took his place, and bravely cried
(I’m a blackstar, I’m a blackstar)
