Poet Don Teaches the Class about the Octopus (World Octopus Day 8 Oct)

FCS focuses on humour,
offbeat poetry and exploring things different

Poet Don runs the FCS Childrens Education Unit
He is devoted to giving the children a firm grounding
for their journey in life

All the kiddies love him

Class L to R : Tommy. Dauphine, Johnny, Mazie

Kiddies all around the world today are learning about the octopus.
We are going to look at what the name means.

Oooh….

Hands up those who have seen an octopus?….

You have Tommy?…..

In your bath?…..

A toy rubber one?…..

I have one too Poet Don….

That’s nice Mazie….

In our fish tank……

Octo dear kiddies means eight now
And puss we all know what they be
So logic it tells us these creatures
Have eight pussy arms, don’t you see

But Poet Don?….

What Johnny?….

I have a very clever thing about the octopus
to show you on our video projector

(Excitement builds….)

Ooooh….

Where are the pussycats Poet Don….
