FCS Daily Music Video – ‘How Long’ Paul Carrack and Mike and the Mechanics

Paul Melvyn Carrack (born 22 April 1951) is an English singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He is now lead singer for Mike and the Mechanics following the death of Paul Young in 2000

Mike and the Mechanics is an English rock supergroup formed in Dover in 1985 by Mike Rutherford, initially as a side project during a hiatus period for his earlier group Genesis.

Lyrics below

How long has this been going on
How long has this been going on

Well your friends with their fancy persuation
Don’t admit that it’s part of a scheme
But I can’t help it have my suspicion
I ain’t quit as dumb as I seem
Well you say that you never intended
To break up our scene in this way
But there ain’t any use pretending
It could happen to us anyday

How long has this been going on
How long has this been going on
You know you said you never intended
To break up our scene in this way
Ain’t any use pretending
It could happen to us anyday

Your friends with their fancy persuation
Don’t admit that it’s part of a scheme
I can’t help it have my suspicion
Cause I ain’t quit as dumb as I seem
How long has this been going on
How long has this been going on
How long has this been going on
How long has this been going on

How long
