Free were an English rock band formed in London in 1968, best known for their hit songs “All Right Now” and “Wishing Well“. They disbanded in 1973; lead singer Paul Rodgers went on to become the frontman of the more successful rock band Bad Company, which also featured his Free bandmate Simon Kirke on drums. Lead guitarist Paul Kossoff formed Back Street Crawler in 1973, but died from a pulmonary embolism at the age of 25 in 1976. Bassist Andy Fraser formed Sharks.

This song has been in my personal Top 40 – probably around #22 – for over 50 years now. Lordy, that’s a long time.
Of course, this is just a guess. I don’t actually have an actual, for real personal Top 40.
If you asked me to produce it, I would have to start from scratch. But I am purty durn shur that “All Right Now” by Free would definitely for reals be in there, and probably around #22, as I mentioned.
Starting from scratch, I would start with this song at #22. I don’t know if it would go up or down on the list, but it would certainly start there. At least now it would, since I told you that is probably around where it is on the list, but one never knows, does one? I don’t. I don’t know.

Yes. No overblown attempts to be a Disney/broadway circus on steroids.
