Cream were a British rock band formed in London in 1966. The group consisted of bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist Eric Clapton, and drummer Ginger Baker. Bruce was the primary songwriter and vocalist, although Clapton and Baker also sang and contributed songs. Formed from members of previously successful bands, they are widely regarded as the world’s first supergroup. Cream were highly regarded for the instrumental proficiency of each of their members. Tensions between Bruce and Baker led to their decision in May 1968 to break up,
Ginger Baker died in 2019 and Jack Bruce in 2014
Lyrics below
Strange brew – killin’ what’s inside of you
She’s a witch of trouble in electric blue
In her own mad mind she’s in love with you
With you
Now what you gonna do?
Strange brew – killin’ what’s inside of you
She’s some kind of demon messin’ in the glue
If you don’t watch out it’ll stick to you
To you
What kind of fool are you?
Strange brew – killin’ what’s inside of you
On a boat in the middle of a raging sea
She would make a scene for it all to be
Ignored
And wouldn’t you be bored?
Strange brew – killin’ what’s inside of you
Strange brew, strange brew, strange brew, strange brew
Strange brew – killin’ what’s inside of you
