FCS Daily Music Video – ‘Light My Fire’ Jose Feliciano and Daryl Hall, Live from Daryl’s House

Live from Daryl’s House is an online series that was debuted in fall 2007. The show features singer-songwriter Daryl Hall performing with his band and various guest artists at his home in Millerton, New York. The show provides a performance space that is an alternative to live concerts and studio sessions for popular artists. This allows the artists to “…have fun and [be] creatively spontaneous”.

Lyrics below

“Light My Fire” (The Doors)

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn’t get much higher

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn’t get much higher

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire

      1. After listening to this, I let YouTube automatically play… it went to the Daryl’s House recording session with The O’Jays. Man, that was great; especially when they did “I Can’t Go For That.” Wow-uh.
