Playing these games with my friends
Which didn’t require any batteries
Technology then brought that to end

I loved Snakes ‘N’ Ladders , Don, as a kid; the American version is a little different; I wrote a poem about a childhood game called ‘The Magic Robot’. I used it in my zoom session. You can find it, if interested, on my main blog: just type in ‘The Magic Robot’ in ‘Search’ ; Come to think of it: you probably played it yourself 🙂

Will investigate. Did they have robots when we were kids?…..I guess I could stretch to a magic one…..

easier to read my poem, Don — or google ‘Amazing Robot’ which is a UK variant, I believe, and is still on sale —

Yep BFCW this makes me shudder! How did I ever resort to such close contactness? I’m so glad I can text, email people now without having to actually face them…..I mean I just couldn’t in this day of enlightenment sit down in a cafe with you and chat over coffee…Now could I? It’s just not the done thing now…..
