Dose-Ups and Addiction

I’m trying to slow my mind down

But it just laughs at me

I’m taking mind-slow tablets

We battle, mind and me

The GP says lets up the dose

To slow your neurons down

Seems they’ve become acclimatised

To pills, white, purple, brown

While dose-ups they might fix some things

The danger is addiction

Which may not have the best effect

On ones living condition
