Chet Atkins was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. He was known for his distinctive guitar picking style and ability to produce bass, rhythm and melody simultaneously with a use of difficult finger-stretching chords. He died of colon cancer on 30 June 2001, age 77 Don MatthewsJuly 2021
