  2. Yep. This is a great song, and this is the definitive version, in my book. I liked Neil Diamond’s version; and I even like Smashmouth’s version! But this one is for sure the cat’s pajamas. And yes, I confess, I dug their show back when I was a snot-nosed impressionable brat.
