We used to get our bread
Delivered to the door
Neddy/van came up the street
Neddy/van no more

We had this thing they called a crock
In which the bread to store
Neddy/van and crock all have
Disappeared, no more

The same Neddy/van which came up my street in Adelaide when I was a boy. No, it’s not my house…..

Nice retro. Always raises the question: live in the “good old days” or now? The answer (mine anyway) keeps changing. Nice post.
